Camping at the Veerse Meer

Want to camp at De Paardekreek? You have several options to choose from! There are camping pitches directly by the water, so you can relax in your chair and enjoy the Veerse Meer, or you can opt for one of the fields closer to the facilities, with or without private bathroom. For campers, there are separate, paved pitches available, but you can also stay on a comfort pitch with your camper. Dogs are very welcome.

It was a perfect getaway! I received a place right on the water. Beautiful! Watching swans, ducks, seagulls and all the nature around me was truly magical. There was never a dull moment. Sail boats, rowing boats, kids sailing lessons on Optimists. People enjoying the water joyfully. You can't help but be immersed in the whole atmosphere! The shower/toilet block was also a surprise. 5 star clean. Heated floor and gentle piped music. Piping hot shower with excellent pressure. Super happy with this set up. All in all.....a 100% brilliant get away during a warm spell at the onset of winter.

Absolutely perfect

We returned today after enjoying nine wonderful days at your campsite. It's truly beautiful, with a kind of boulevard that makes you feel like you're abroad. Everyone was equally friendly. We wanted to extend our stay, but unfortunately it was fully booked! There was plenty to do for everyone, everything was perfectly organised and very clean.

Camping de Paardekreek, you were so BEAUTIFUL!!

We had such a wonderful two weeks here! We hardly saw our two boys during this holiday, the entertainment team was really great with the children! Really top notch! Of course, we immediately booked again for next year, and from what we hear, we're not the only ones. Everyone at the campsite speaks lovingly about this park! The staff are really super friendly wherever you go, whether it's the reception, shop, restaurant or security. It doesn't matter who you talk to, they're all equally nice and polite!

Is the campsite open year-round?

No, the campsite is open from early April to late October. All sanitary facilities are closed during the winter months (November to March). The park facilities are open daily, subject to maintenance and construction work.

How many amps of electricity are available per camping pitch?

Each camping pitch has 10 amps. At Koekoeksveld, you can purchase additional electrical power for a fee.

Is it permissible to place an additional tent next to the motorhome/caravan?

A maximum of one additional tent (max. 4m²) may be placed next to the camping equipment. There are no additional costs for this, unless the persons sleeping in the additional tent are not registered on your reservation.

Is it allowed to barbecue on my camping pitch?

Yes, barbecuing is permitted. Please ensure that the grass is not damaged and that there is always a bucket of water nearby in case something goes wrong.

Can I park my car at the camping site?

Each camping pitch can accommodate a maximum of one car. A second car must be parked outside the park. Please note: when booking a (small) pitch by the water, it may not be possible to park your car at the pitch.

Are there family showers or baby changing facilities?

The two large sanitary buildings feature a family shower (open for use) and baby changing facilities. The sanitary building at the rear of the campsite features a family shower (accessible only with a key).

Are there toilet facilities available for disabled persons?

Yes, the two largest sanitary buildings have sanitary facilities for disabled persons. These areas are only accessible with a key, which can be obtained from reception upon payment of a deposit.

Are the showers free to use?

Yes, the showers are free and can be used without shower tokens.
