General
No, the campsite is open from early April to late October. All sanitary facilities are closed during the winter months (November to March). The park facilities are open daily, subject to maintenance and construction work.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park. All rental accommodations have their own modem with a secure network. Campsites can use the open Wi-Fi network.
Pets are allowed at De Paardekreek upon request. Please ensure that your pet is always registered so that we can reserve a camping pitch/accommodation where pets are allowed. Dogs are welcome at the campsite and villa park, provided they are kept on a leash. Please walk your dog outside the campsite and bungalow park. There is a surcharge per night for staying with your dog at De Paardekreek.
Friends or family are welcome to visit, but cars must be parked outside the park. An admission wristband must be purchased in order to use the facilities.
De Paardekreek is a family campsite. Youths are not permitted without adult supervision. Groups are permitted outside of peak season periods, subject to consultation. At De Paardekreek, quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., during which time the entire park must be quiet.
A maximum of six people are allowed to stay per camping pitch. If you do not exceed this maximum, someone can come and stay with you. You pay the guest rate for these guests, which includes use of the park facilities. Are you staying in rental accommodation or a villa? Then the maximum number of people for which the accommodation is suitable may not be exceeded.
Outside the park, you will find two charging stations for a total of four cars. You can pay for charging at the stations outside the park using a QR code. Inside the park, you will find another two charging stations for four cars near the first sanitary building. There are also two charging stations for four cars in the villa park. These charging stations are located on the grass strip near Dijkwoning 29 and Villa 18. There is also a charging station at the Zeeuwse Dijksuites. You need a special charging card to use the charging stations, which can be used at public charging stations.
Yes, the launderette is located near the reception desk. You can purchase laundry and dryer tokens at the reception desk. Detergent is included with each wash.

During quiet periods, it may be possible to check in earlier. If you wish to check in earlier, please contact us in advance by telephone or email. We charge a surcharge per booking for early check-in.
If your camping pitch or rental accommodation is still available on the day of departure, it is possible to check out later for a fee. Please enquire about the options at reception.
From April to October, the reception is open until 6 p.m., and from November to March, the reception is open until 5 p.m. If you plan to arrive later, we would appreciate it if you could let us know in advance by telephone or email. The key to your rental accommodation/villa can be left for you elsewhere. The barrier to the campsite is open until 10 p.m., while the barrier to the villa park and Veerse Meersuites/Zeeuwse Dijksuites car park is open 24 hours a day.
Accommodations
Each accommodation is equipped with a complete inventory for the number of persons for whom the accommodation is suitable, including crockery, pans, and cutlery.
Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are not provided as standard. These can be added to your booking on request (when booking online, by telephone or by email).
In the Zeeland Dike Suites, the beds in both bedrooms are made up. In the Veere Meer Suites, the beds on the ground floor are made up and bed linen is provided for the beds on the first floor.
A cot or high chair is not provided as standard in the accommodation and can be booked when booking online, by telephone or by email. Bed linen is not included for the cot.
Every accommodation has heating. At the villa park and in the Veerse Meersuites, the accommodations are heated by underfloor heating and (electric) radiators. The Zeeuwse Dijksuites and accommodations on the campsite are heated by electric radiators.
The Zeeuwse Dike Suites have air conditioning that keeps the accommodation cool in summer and provides extra heating in colder periods.
Yes, barbecuing is permitted. Please ensure that the grass and garden furniture are not damaged and that there is always a bucket of water nearby in case something goes wrong.
Each accommodation on the campsite has space for a maximum of one car. A second car must be parked outside the park. At the villa park, there is space for two cars per bungalow.

Yes, both the campsite and the villa park offer accommodation that is accessible to disabled guests. At the campsite, this is Lodge Lepelaar, and at the villa park, it is the 8-person villa IJsvogel.
Facilities and amenities
It is not possible to use the park facilities as a day guest.
To visit the sauna, you must reserve a time slot at least 30 minutes in advance at reception. The time slot is for a maximum of one hour. Use of the sauna costs €10.00 per hour.
Camping and Villapark de Paardekreek has several swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor! The heated outdoor pool is not covered, while the children's pool is covered; the roof can be opened on warm days. The water playground and the indoor pool are both located indoors.
Yes, during the Dutch school holidays (with the exception of the Christmas holidays), Ascension Day and Pentecost, there is an entertainment team on hand to organise various activities from morning until evening. The entertainment programme can be viewed in the Paardekreek app.
The large outdoor playground is located behind the reception building. In addition, there are various play areas scattered throughout the park. At the villa park, you will find a fun playground between the bungalows where children can enjoy themselves for hours. The entrance to this playground is located between bungalows 74 and 76.
Camping
Each camping pitch has 10 amps. At Koekoeksveld, you can purchase additional electrical power for a fee.
A maximum of one additional tent (max. 4m²) may be placed next to the camping equipment. There are no additional costs for this, unless the persons sleeping in the additional tent are not registered on your reservation.

Surroundings and transport
Yes, standard and electric bicycles are available for hire at reception. Please enquire about availability and prices at reception.
Within walking distance of the park, you will find a bus stop from where the bus will take you further onto the island of Noord-Beveland or towards the Zeeland town of Goes. Goes has an NS train station, from where you can easily reach Middelburg or Vlissingen by train or quickly travel towards Brabant.
"Endless Island Noord-Beveland" has an extensive network of cycling and walking paths. Cycling and walking maps are available at reception, allowing you to explore the island further.
Reservations and payments
Once your booking has been processed, you will receive a booking confirmation. You can make the payments according to the instalments via Guest Login or by manual bank transfer. The details for this are stated on the booking confirmation.
No, each reservation must be made separately. Do you have a group request? Please contact the reception desk.
The booking can be cancelled free of charge within 24 hours of making the reservation. After 24 hours, the booking is final and the general Hiswa-Recron terms and conditions apply in the event of cancellation. If you took out cancellation insurance when making your reservation, the reason for cancellation will be assessed by the insurance company after submitting a few documents, and the reservation will be cancelled.
After the booking has been made, a deposit of 50% of the total price will be charged within 14 days of booking. The remaining balance must be paid 21 days before arrival. If you have made a booking with a short-term arrival date, you will be asked to pay the full amount immediately.
Cleaning and deposit
Upon departure, the accommodation must be left swept clean, rubbish must be disposed of and the dishwasher emptied.
Final cleaning is mandatory for every accommodation and is included in the price.
The deposit will be refunded within 14 days of departure, provided the accommodation has been left tidy and clean. Please ensure that your bank account number is known to reception before you leave.
Winter at De Paardekreek
The campsite is closed from November to March, so unfortunately it is not possible to come camping during this period. However, there are various rental accommodations available, or you can rent a cosy bungalow in the villa park.
Yes, there are various accommodations available for rent in winter. Think, for example, of the comfortable bungalows at Villapark, the unique Veerse Meersuites on the water, or the Zeeuwse Dijksuites. In winter, you can enjoy the peace and quiet and all the beauty that nature has to offer!
No, the supermarket at the park is closed from November to March. You will find the Spar supermarket in the village of Kortgene. It is open Monday to Sunday.

The indoor swimming pool and water playground are usually open in winter, except during maintenance work. The outdoor swimming pool and Saartje's Children's Pool are closed in winter.

Hotel de Zilte Zeeuw
No, the hotel does not have its own swimming pool. However, as a hotel guest, you can use the park facilities at Camping and Villapark de Paardekreek. When you check in, you will receive an access wristband that allows you to use the swimming pools and playgrounds, among other things.
