Oranjezon is a beautiful nature reserve near Vrouwenpolder with extensive dunes, forests and wide sandy beaches. Ideal for walking, cycling and nature lovers who enjoy peace and quiet.
The Oranjezon nature reserve is located between Vrouwenpolder and Oostkapelle and is one of the most beautiful dune areas in Zeeland. The area consists of varied nature: high dunes, open dune valleys, woods, water features and grassy plains. During a walk, you may encounter deer, wild horses and many species of birds. Oranjezon used to be a water extraction area and has therefore remained largely unspoilt and peaceful. There are several marked walking routes of varying lengths.
